Manakin Sabot-June 29, 2006-- "The American Association of the Deaf-Blind (AADB) Conference provided an opportunity to demonstrate how people who are Deaf-Blind can achieve their maximum potential through increased independence, production, and integration into the community," said Dana Marlowe of her experience as a guest presenter at the 27th Biennial Conference of the AADB. The exciting event took place at the beautiful campus of Towson University in Baltimore, MD, on June 17-23, 2006.

Her presentation, ´Make IT Accessible: Employing & Working with People who are Deaf-Blind,´ highlighted the many advantages of hiring people who are Deaf-Blind, the use of accessible technology, and best practices in providing accessible work environments.
