Rockville, VA-- April 12, 2005-- TecAccess, a worldwide leader in electronic and information technology, announced today that it has added Portable Document Format (PDF) file remediation, assessment, and testing to its suite of accessibility services. Rendering PDF documents accessible allows persons with dexterity and vision impairments to navigate though content. It also permits individuals with visual disabilities to decipher PDF content by using screen readers.
In addition to PDF documents, TecAccess assesses, tests, and offers remediation for Internet, e-Learning, telecommunications, and software applications to comply with Section 508 standards. Once remediation is completed, TecAccess will issue a letter of certification to verify that best efforts have been made toward Section 508 compliance.
