Rockville, VA-- March 9, 2005-- TecAccess, a worldwide leader in electronic and information technology (E&IT), is honored and privileged to welcome Michael Chenail of Midlothian, VA, as the newest consultant in a continuously evolving team of accessibility experts.

Mr. Chenail, founder and president of Compliance Alliance, is a widely recognized leader in the disability community who is dedicated to creating awareness of social obstacles and unconscious discrimination of those with disabilities. In 1989, Mr. Chenail began his work in the disability field for AdLib Inc, Center for Independent Living of Western Massachusetts, where he served on the Board of Directors and was Chairperson before relocating to Virginia.

Since that time, Michael has made countless recommendations to many city councils on accessibility problems for persons with disabilities concerning their overall interaction within the community. Reviewing building and development plans on an ongoing basis, Mr. Chenail served as President of the North Adams Handicapped Services Commission, where he eventually became a certified Community Access Monitor (CAM).

Mr. Chenail comes to TecAccess with many years of service to the disability community. He has worked with businesses, community organizations, and local government agencies to help recognize and resolve accessibility issues. When not advocating in the boardroom, Mr. Chenail has built a dedicated readership through his accessibility column that regularly appears in City Edition. He also has regular speaking engagements.

Prior to paralysis due to a spinal cord injury, Mr. Chenail worked in applied trades where he acquired a vast understanding of construction principals. His addition to TecAccess brings an awareness of both physical and technological barriers faced by persons with disabilities. Accordingly, he knows first hand how easily discrimination can dissolve with increased awareness.

Mr. Chenail will add a new dimension to TecAccess due to this vast knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) and his understanding that persons with disabilities are the "Next Consumer Niche."
