TecAccess Partners with L-3 Communications on U.S. Marines Contract

TecAccess will collaborate with L-3 Communications´ Government Services, Inc. division (L-3 GSI) on a six-year, $50 million contract. The collaborative team will also include D.P. Associates, Inc., Omega Training Group, Inc., and CACI. The U.S. Marine Corps (U.S.M.C.) College of Continuing Education awarded L-3 GSI the contract to provide innovative training solutions that will allow U.S. Marines to train anywhere, anytime by using distance learning systems.

TecAccess featured in Women´s Business News

TecAccess is featured in the June 2004 issue of Virginia Women´s Business Enterprises (VWBE) newsletter Women´s Business News. The article, entitled "TecAccess: Turning Challenges Into Abilities," discusses how Debra Ruh, president and founder of TecAccess, has striven to make the company become successful so persons with disabilities can have solid telework opportunities. In addition to Mrs. Ruh, the article profiles some of TecAccess´ associates.

Family Business Magazine features TecAccess

Family Business Magazine is very pleased to feature TecAccess in its Summer 2004 issue. The six-page article, entitled "TecAccess: A Company with a Mission," recounts how Debra Ruh, founder and president of the Virginia-based company, and her family have devoted tremendous effort and financial sacrifice to establish a business that would offer telecommuting opportunities to individuals with disabilities. The article includes profiles and photos of the Ruh family and some of TecAccess´ associates.

TecAccess featured in Corning´s GuideLines® Online Magazine

TecAccess has been featured in the Spring 2004 issue of Corning Incorporated´s award-winning, online fiber-optic trade magazine, GuideLines(R) Online. The article, entitled "Virtual Office, Real Accessibility: The TecAccess Story," shows how broadband usage has permitted TecAccess associates to telecommute while helping the company become more marketable and successful.
