Rockville, VA-- March 22, 2005-- As a worldwide leader in electronic and information technology (E&IT), TecAccess has been invited to become a FOSE (Friend of Supported Employment). FOSE sponsors assist the Hanover Community Services´ Supported Employment Program by empowering employees with disabilities in the community.
In conjunction with the State Department of Rehabilitative Services and the Supported Employment Program, TecAccess is among the first to become a FOSE sponsor. The Virginia-based company looks forward to assisting the 88 clients working with 36 employers in the Hanover Business Community. Appropriately, TecAccess has been tapped for its leadership in accessible technology. It will help FOSE design a new employee resource center, which will complete with computers and an array of accessible resources.
There are many ways to become a FOSE sponsor, yet TecAccess was among a select few to provide specialized focus on accessible design. Joining TecAccess in these efforts to create the employee resource center for the Hanover County Government will be Verizon, Wal-Mart, and Dominion Power.
