Course Overview:
This course is designed for technical and testing personnel. The course begins with a broad overview of the issues associated with disabilities and how users of assistive technology face challenges in working with electronic & information technology (E&IT). Following these overview discussions the topics address the specific Section 508 technical standards associated with the Web, and move into the area of developing test plans, test cases and test reports. We will review at least one technique for how each of the technical standards can be evaluated for compliance. Topics will include:
